East Lake (Dong Hu)

On 15-Mar (Sunday), the weather was superb! Perfect weather for an outing, probably an excursion to the East Lake (东湖). True enough, most of the Wuhanese agreed with us, and there were thousands of people in the East Lake! Fortunately, East Lake is huge (6 times the size of famous West Lake 西湖, in Hangzhou 杭州), hence we didn't feel that it was congested.

East Lake is indeed beautiful. I enjoyed my trip very much, thanks to my "tour guide", Mr Wong Soon Fatt! Hehe...

Activities: You can fly kites, or row a boat with your lover, strolling along the park with your partner, rest yourself on the grass enjoying the sun, or para-sailing.

You have many choices on how you wish to travel around the park, motor boat, rowing boat, ferry, bicycle, caddy, roller blade, or by walking.












I am like an Alien in Wuhan. No people (except SF and me) is wearing short-sleeves shirt. All still wearing winter clothing. Just wondering why they dont feel warm? I was sweating even with a single layer of clothing!
