I woke up at 9am on Saturday morning. Looking out from the window, thanks god, it was not raining. I hate raining here, because it becomes so cold when it rains! As planned, I washed up and then headed my way to the Wet Market, which is just a 5 minutes walk from my apartment.
When I arrived there, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the market, cleaner than some wet market in Singapore. Firstly, I took a walk around the market, looking at what were offered, and made a note in my mind what to cook for lunch/dinner. What I like about here is the vegetables are so green and fresh! The fresh mushroom looks good too!
So, after about an hour, this is what I have bought.

Sugar, Salt, Oyster Sauce, Soya Sauce, Oil. I am surprised to find oyster sauce here, though it is not Lee Kum Kee, just it tastes good! (Cannot remember the price, approximately 30 yuan)

They peeled the garlic skin for me! Just pay a bit more, and it saves my trouble. (1.20 yuan)

The vegetables here are fresh! Cheap too (only 2.50 yuan)

Fresh mushroom tastes really GOOD! (2 yuan)

Just pay, they will peel and cut the potato for me! (2-3 yuan)

Generally, eggs are not that cheap. On average, about 0.50 yuan (or more) for one egg.

Wow! Green Bean soup will be my dessert for the day! (~5 yuan)

I am a carnivore! Cannot do without meat! (6.50 + 5 yuan)

Review: Still need a few more trials to make the food taste better. Kind of plain. Will do better next time.
