Lantau Island (大屿山)

Today, I am going to Lantau Island to visit to Giant Buddha! Feeling excited! Haha

There are different ways of visiting Lantau Island, I have chosen to go there by the following Route:
(1) Take Ferry from Central Pier, Pier 6 (中环) to Mui Wo (梅窝)
(2) Take Bus No 2 from Mui Wo (梅窝) or Silvermine Bay Ferry Terminal to Ngong Ping (where the Giant Buddha is situated)
(3) Take the 360 Cable Car (Skyrail) from Ngong Ping to Tung Chung MTR station
(4) Take MTR from Tung Chung (东涌) back to Central (中环) (need to change train once at Lai King Station, 荔景)

The weather is so hot this day, and staying outdoor for the whole day can cause Heat Exhaustion (read this blog on Heat Exhaustion).

Here are some photos for viewing

Take Ferry from Central Pier, Pier No. 6 (Fast Ferry, 30 minutes to Mui Wo. Standard Ferry will take almost an hour)
