The hotel is well located in Siem Reap, only a 5 minutes walk to the Old Market and the popular Pub Street (where the pubs/restaurants/bars are located).
I paid US$18 for a twin room (supposingly coming with a friend), I wanted to change the room to a Single room, but it is fully booked throughout the period. The room is nice, with two super single bed, nicely decorated internally. There is a TV with cable, about 5 or more sports channels! Great! I can watch sports (particularly tennis, WTA tour China Open and ATP Thailand Open), not forgetting the Night F1 Grand Prix in Singapore!
Entrance to Hotel
Restaurant in the hotel - Free Coffee/Tea/Banana (24 hours)
My room - Twin Bed (US$22 per day, but I only pay US$18 because I have booked in July when the rate is US$18)
Common Balcony (on second level)
A small garden (at the entrance of the hotel)
Hammock to relax
Entrance to Hotel
It is a very popular hotel among tourists from Mainland China. During my stay here, I noticed that at least 50% of the guests are Chinese. I have also made some Chinese friends. According to them, the review of this hotel is very good as published in the Chinese websites. My "Kay-Poh"(Busybody) personality always offer my service in giving them advices on where to go, and also sometimes being a translator between them and the hotel staff (when the staff has problem understanding them).
Review on Hotel
Good: Good Value for money, friendly and helpful staff, free internet service (6 desktops) is useful for those who wish to keep in touch with friends during travel, clean and safe (with locked cupboard in the room), well located (easy access to convenient stores, pub street), nice restaurant (good food reasonably priced), reliable driver service (to bring you to visit temples), TV with cable is a PLUS!
Bad: The stairs in the hotel are steep (ask for ground floor if you have weak legs).

also, which is advisable? train or bus from malaysia to singapore?? any advise on what kind of bus to take?? thanks again. weee
hi, Stayorange is not that cheap actually. U need to book real early to enjoy the cheap price.
The train from Malaysia to Singapore is slow, better to take coach (from Pudu Raya bus station, it is near to Stayorange, only 5 minutes walk). Most of the coach companies are alright, Transnasional, Consortium, are reasonably priced and reliable.
thanks for the advise.. have a great day
