Generally,
I like all the accommodations, they are of good quality.
Auckland Airport Kiwi Hotel
Auckland
Airport Kiwi Motel is good value for money, including a free airport
transfer (both ways). The room comes with fridge and cooking
facilities.
When you arrived at Auckland airport, watch out for the travel information counter, over there, you will see a white phone, use it to dail 24 and it will connect you to the hotel. Tell the hotel that you are in Auckland airport (domestic/international), they will advise you to wait for the pickup at a specific location.
Rydges Lakeland Resort (Queenstown)
Rydges
Lakeland Resort has nice facilities with swimming pool but I cannot
enjoy it because it was too cold to swim. Room equipped with fridge and
coffee/tea making facilities. The hotel is beside the lake, nice view!
Fiordland Hotel and Motel (Te Anau)
Bella Vista Fox Glacier Motel (Fox Glacier)
The room of Bella Vista Fox Glacier hotel is small compact but clean and well
furnished. It comes with a free 30MB internet access. However, there is no cooking facilities, only a kettle for
boiling hot water.

Lake Hawea Hotel (Lake Hawea)
Lake Hawea Hotel offers a nice view of quiet Lake Hawea. Actually, for NZD 140, the hotel reception offers us to upgrade to a luxurious room, with balcony facing Lake Hawea.Kitchen with stove and cooking utensils, quite well equipped.
Godley Hotel (Lake Tekapo)
Godley Hotel is well located beside Lake Tekapo. No cooking facilities, only cofee/tea making facilities with a fridge. However, this hotel has a small little swimming pool. Many restaurants near to the hotel.
