First Anniversary in Ngee Ann Polytechnic

Today marks my first anniversary in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. How should I celebrate? Maybe I should reward myself by sleeping early tonight, last night (rather this morning), I slept late (around 4am) because I was rushing out the practical exercises for Business Computing Applications.

What have I done in the past one year? This is my third semester of teaching.

First Semester (April 08)
I have taught 4 classes (EI 2F02, EI 2F03, BPQE 1K01 and ME 1A04) and 2 modules (Database Systems, and Computer Programming).

Second Semester (October 08)
I have taught 2 classes (LMGT 1L02, and LMGT 1L03) and 2 modules (Applied Statistics, and Web Publishing). I am also made the Module Leader of Web Publishing. Due to the fact that I am supposed to go to Wuhan in 2009 (I am in Wuhan now, while writing this blog) to teach Introduction to Logistics (ITL) and Business Computing Applications (BCA), I was scheduled to team-teach with Dickson (in ITL) and Faith (in BCA).

Third Semester (February 09)
This is the first batch of OEC (Overseas Education Centre) students, 78 of them. Initially, they seemed to be a quiet lot, but slowly, we have broken the ice, and now, they are beginning to be more chatty with me.

Other than teaching, I have gone to Pangkor Island in a Students' Adventure Trip, and also a Kelong trip with the Alumni members.
