Transit at Guangzhou Airport

We arrived at Guangzhou Airport (白云机场) at 12noon, and the flight to Wuhan is around 3:30pm. 3 hours seemed to be a long time to wait, but in actual sense, it is about just nice.

(a) We need to pass through the immigration/customs, to get our checked-in luggage.
(b) Bring the luggage to the Domestic airport (thanks god! it is in the same terminal building on the second level), and checked in to get another Boarding Pass. Which means if your luggage is overweight, you have to pay for excess luggage both in Singapore ($15 per kg) and here in Guangzhou (14 yuan per kg)! Remember the weight limit is 20kg for both sectors!
(c) When you are on the second level, ask the ground crew where to go. For China Eastern Airline, go to "E" zone (but subjected to changes, so better ask around for direction).
(d) General Rule of Thumb: Better to be early than late. Be prepared that you have to wait for a long time to check in, and go through the security gates to the boarding area.

If you come during cold weather, please wear sufficiently, you may need to take buses and board the plane in the open (see below).

The flight from Guangzhou from Wuhan takes about 1.5 hours, serving biscuits and coffee.
