Community Service

During this trip, I have met three groups of Singapore Students going to Cambodia for Community Service!

I met the first group when I was taking a flight from Changi Airport to Cambodia. They are from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, School of Business & Accountancy.

I met the second group when I was visiting Bayon, they are also from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, School of Life Sciences and Chemical Technology. This group has already completed their expedition in a village somewhere near Phnom Penh.

I met the third group when I was taking a flight back to Singapore in the Siem Reap International Airport. They are from ITE Simei.

It is very inspiring to see that Singapore Schools are pushing these initiatives to help the unfortunate. I would love to be part of it in the near future.

As what the Chinese says 能施就是福, one who can give is already a fortune.

Don't complain so much about your life, there are people who are much less fortunate than you are.

If you cannot afford the money to help, then offer your effort/time. It doesn't take alot from you. The world will be a much better place to stay if we can help each other.
