Victoria Peak

You can go up to the Victoria Peak by Bus or Peak Tram (opened in 1888).

All would suggest taking Peak Tram, which is more scenic and "faster". However, the time taken would be long, because of the queuing time of buying tickets and waiting time for the tram. The tram journey only takes about 10 minutes. Queuing/Waiting time will range from 30 minutes (on a good day) to more than one hour during peak hours. Suggest to reach the Peak Tram Station by 430pm, to beat the crowd.

You can walk to Peak Tram Station from Central MTR Station. Details on Victoria Peak and "How to get there" are available here.

On top of the peak, there is a shopping mall, and many restaurants. Go up the peak to catch the beautiful sunset and night scene. Suggest to spend at least 2 hours on the peak.

Important Note:
Victoria Peak is one of the main attractions in Hong Kong. Be prepared to spend lots of time in queuing/waiting for getting up and down from the peak. Beware of people who cut queue. I have reasoned with a Mainland Chinese and a Westerner on two separate incidents, and make them follow the queue.

Here are some photos from the peak.
